Padre Ryan is a full service photography and videography company servicing couples, families and corporate clients in the Coastal Bend, and all over the great state of Texas. This includes but not limited to, Port Aransas, Portland, Calallen, the Valley, Cuero, Beeville, Three Rivers, Victoria, Mathis, Kingsville and South Padre Island. We love to travel, but have called Corpus Christi, Texas our home since the beginning over 6 years ago.

Padre Ryan specializes in capturing amazing wedding photography and videography for our clients but we also work with local magazines to create advertising content and beautiful imagery. We have created unique collections of art for corporate clients to make their offices shine with locally themed photography and we have created PSA announcements in conjunction with Corpus Christi hospitals. Our biggest photo to date graces a 103.33ft wall at the Corpus Christi International Airport!  Also, as of September 2018, Padre Ryan will be offering studio photo sessions once again. The face behind Padre Ryan is me, Laura Schimmel, a Corpus Christi transplant from New England. I worked at Padre Ryan for 2 years as Director of Photography before taking on the ownership role in January of 2017. I love every moment of being a photographer, videographer and business owner. I love being out on the beach when I can, whether it's taking photos or just relaxing.
